Nice job in finishing the season with a CG victory. Nice season. At least the Cubs have 1 quality starter going into 2013.

Did they just get a new addition to the staff? They have no quality starters. Smudgea is just a guy. Back end starter on a contending team. So he fits the bill as Cubs ace.

Not sure if it's quite that high, but he was still throwing 97 in the 9th and only walked 1 for like the 7th time all year. Not to shabby.
