Maybe they are going to fly west and take the scenic route.

Gruden was just gold last night. "Mike, I'm an emotional guy, but I'm not coaching this game, but I want to jump out of this press box and go after one of those guys!"

At least they stopped the "It's not the refs fault, they're doing the best they can, etc" when it clearly was a case that they didn't do the best they could.

Today's espn narrative seemed to be somewhere between "Should the fans and/or players boycott/walkout?" and "Was this the worst call in the history of football?"

The answer to both questions is no.

People who are bashing the refs are kind of stupid. They are just as much the victims in this situation as any team who gets jobbed by a bad call. They don't have anywhere near the training and experience necessary to perform their jobs competently. I imagine if you thrust me to an executive level job at my company at this point, I'd make some hilarious boners.

No one's forcing them to officiate these games. They didn't get called up from the NFL minor leagues. They can say "no we can't do it." If you volunteered to be an top level executive and you sucked you'd get bashed. I'd understand that you did it for the money and all, but you'd still get bashed if you sucked
