A bit serene. I could see a second shift office job being kind of nice. Except when needing to communicate with like...anyone ever.

Traveling and deadlines have really messed with my previous M-F 8-5 type stuff. Overall, I don't think I'm working that many more hours than before (if you don't count travel time) but man...I'm here at some weird ass times through any given week. 6 AM... 9 PM... sometimes a bit on a Saturday or Sunday. And then other days I'm 10a-2p.

I could never do hourly retail, that is for sure. Glad I never had to. I need structure.

Why you could practically just walk a block or two on Lunt and then a saunter up Elmhurst Road and you are there!

I imagine this is what inmates do as a coping mechanism also.

This was a shoutout leash. What are you getting at?

Bling bling, ya'll. Besides, it saved me from watching a shite Cubs game.

They've already brainwashed you. It's too bad. You were a bright kid.

No, I wasn't.

Or If I was, I was wasting myself at a dead-end, hourly medical billing job.

Marketing and communications. Print and digital type stuff.

And that still has never been a thing. If anyone is trying to get a hold of anyone "after hours" it is me trying to get a hold of others. Not the other way around.

It is. I haven't turned my company cell phone on in 6 months. If it's important enough to bother me, call my personal cell.

I'm at the office until 11 or midnight during tax season. The only enjoyable part is listening to Les, and usually I have the office to myself, so it's nice and quiet.
