Not sure if serious....but it just means that its pulled off the bone, or pulled apart. That's really all it is.

Cooked low and slow until the meat literally begins to fall apart. Then its either 'pulled' or shredded with two forks.

What's "pulled" about it? Not sure I want to know.

You need to go south some time, it will help.

Of course I was serious or I would not have asked.

I've explained before that I have specific dislikes that people find odd. Not much for BBQ in general, but rib tips sounds about right for me.

Or i'll just stick with al pastor tacos.

I spent a fair bit of time in Little Rock back in the mid-90's and was not enticed by any of it. Smoky BBQ sauce does nothing for me. It's just one of those things.

I think that would be gross. Pulled pork would work but I'd want it more carnitaish and some cabbage pico de gallo and cilantro. Add chihuahua cheese if you need it.

Pulled pork.

Is that picture from Reggie's? If so, they look disgusting. And they should be sued since the menu says homemade tortilla chips and the ones in the photos are clearly out of a Tostitos bag.

The make or break ingredient in nachos for me is the cheese. I don't want to order them, and see cheese that was in a can all over the plate. Doesn't matter what the toppings are at that point, its already ruined. I can get fake cheese with tortilla chips at Speedway. Gotta be real, shredded cheese melted on there.

uh oh. spanky is going to came at ya

Only if he claims to be able to taste where the can of cheese was opened at

You can either thank me now or wait till after you go. Best pastor tacos I've had in Chicago. I recommend weekends cause that's when they have a little old lady standing in the middle of the place making fresh tortillas.

Gotcha, that makes sense. Didn't really do the review any favors though by adding a non related photo of disgusting nachos.

Hilarious. I was there Friday and they were phenomenal! I just happened to be in the neighborhood and didn't even catch the name before I was on my way and down the street. $8.99 taco plate special.

That is funny. Pretty cool that you just stumbled on the place. Love the green sauce for the tacos. And I need a gringo-sweat towel to eat the chips and pico. I think I lose about a pound of water weight cause it is so damn spicy.

Yeah, I was going to go back and edit my post to comment on the green sauce. Not your typical tomatillo thing in its consistency. Very addicting. I'll be back.

Hilde: A big salad?

George: Just tell her what’cha want, they'll make it for ya.

Elaine: It's a salad, only bigger, with lots of stuff in it.

Hilde: I can bring you 2 small salads.

Elaine: Could you put it in a big bowl?

Hilde: We don't have any big bowls.

Elaine: All right. Just give me a cup of decaf.

Hilde: We have Sanka.

yea I don't think it is a tomatilla salsa. I think its an avocado and maybe cucumber blend. Whatever it is, its damn delicious. Pastor taco with onion and cilantro + that green sauce = WIN.

Have you or anyone here tried L'Patron in Logan Square? Supposed to be real good. The pix on Yelp look amazing.
