Pretty much. Dan has said some things that have genuinely bothered me and made me feel really bad about how highly I thought of him for years, but "I like boobs" was not one of them. I also like boobs.
I wasn't offended, but then, I rarely am. However, within the context of a conversation that began with Spiegel criticizing a woman's competence at her job, bernstein's dismissiveness of her as a human being/sportscaster and his reduction of her to body parts was clearly going to offend at least a few people.
Yes, this isn't that hard to see why it's objectively offensive.
If you don't want to compound that offense by acknowledging the discrimination women face in sports by calling it PC nonsense or whatever, I suppose that's up for debate but certainly makes it worse for Berns. And then even worse-er that he's in the same industry and has influence hiring/firing people in it. What will the next big-breasted contestant of Score Search feel? OK, that'd just be a 300-pound man, but still.
