Feel free to enlighten all of us as to what in the world this was? Seems like a strange combo of GWAR and a lounge singing act??

They Might Be Giants is a pretty good band that does "fun" power-pop songs sometimes but not necessarily aimed at a younger audience. You probably know "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)" and "Birdhouse in Your Soul."

I'm not a HUGE fan, but "Experimental Film" was my jam in 2004.

i was a big HSR fan between 2002-2006 and i was happy to see the brothers chaps' work on that video for "experimental film". their best album by far is "flood" (which has their most recognizable songs) but albums like "lincoln", "john henry", "factory showroom" and more recently with "the spine" and "nanobots" have all been excellent. i think i own all of their regular collection sans the kiddie albums (although i do own "no!") including some EP's like "back to skull" and "holidayland".

they wouldn't be your thing, biggie, but they have been a big part of my musical life for the better part of the last 20 years. they're my all time favorite band.

They are not my type of band, but I've always liked FLOOD.
