The Cavs decided not to guard him. Kudos for hitting every shot from 18-20 feet out.

The Cavs where focused on stopping Rose and Butler. Didn't work out so well for them. If they switch up and go big and guard Gasol, then series over BULLS WIN!!!

I know the pick and roll is tougher to guard when the big guy can shoot. But they literally left Gasol wide open for easy shot after easy shot. They never changed tactics. I'll take it.

Kyrie was pretty awesome. Luckily, the Bulls were able to shoot well.

Juiced is actually right. LeBron is the only one who even slowed Gasol down. If they put LeBron on Pau it's going to be Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert (soon to be JR Smith, YIKES!) trying to slow down Rose and Butler. That is not a winning formula for the Cavs. If they drag Thompson out to guard Pau the Cavs will be almost completely unable to secure a rebound.

They need to have Snell and Butler out there at least occasionally so they can do something to slow down Irving while not giving LeBron free reign to do whatever.

I'd love to see some hard fouls on Irving. DO YOUR JOB, NO LAYUPS! should be the theme for game 2. Having Love out really helps collapse the floor, like teams used to be able to do to the Bulls when they had no shooters.
