Who are safer drivers: men or women? Well, according to a new survey, 55% of adults feel that women are most responsible for minor fender-benders, while 78% blame men for most fatal crashes. Please note that the percentages in these pie graphs do not add up to 100% because the math was done by a woman.

For those of you hissing at that joke, it should be noted that that joke was written by a woman, so now you don't know what the hell to do, do you?

No, I'm just kidding. We don't hire women.

Norm is a treasure. I remember he once totally mangled the word "Caribbean"--he somehow managed to combine the Care-uh-BE-uhn pronunciation and the CUH-rib-e-uhn pronunciation in some bizarre, irreproducible way. He finished the joke, then smiled and said "two correct ways to say that word, and I missed both of them" and moved on. It was a totally random, throwaway moment, but even at the time (i was probably 14), I realized that very few comics could build a persona of arrogant dickery, puncture it so effectively on the fly, and then immediately re-deploy it for the next joke.

Dirty Work grows on you. It's really a good movie after you see it a few times...

His stuff from Friday on Letterman was pretty touching. I obviously don't know the man, but I have a feeling that he is emotionally removed from pretty much everything except things which are really important to him, in which case he becomes an old softie (to use his words.)

Happy to see all the Norm love on here. I remember taking my whole family (wife, small son & daughter) to see Dirty Work. It came out in 1998,so my kids were 11 & 10. Little did I know it would have some comedy bits like "dead hookers stuffed in a trunk".

His type of delivery on SNL news seems to be mimicked by every no-talent hack they have stuck in that chair since with maybe a few exceptions.

I suspect many of you have seen it, but it's still great ... "Norm Saves the Interview":

That was one of the nicest moments I've seen on TV in a long time. Norm seemed very earnest.
