She may be local, but her breasts look like imports.

Terrible show with horrible ideas for remaking bars--unless you prefer corporate sterility as your atmosphere of choice.

The show is fun-bad. It's Kitchen Nightmares for people who dislike Gordon Ramsey.

Fun bad indeed. My wife watches it, so of course I make fun of it as she watches. The "workers" in these bars are priceless.

It's too perfect, almost like they scripted the show!

Bar Rescue was in Antioch late this summer….(early September). The bar was called “Durty Rooster”. Total Shithole on the chain O’Lakes. I wasn’t at the “grand opening” once Bar Rescue finished, but we drove by and it was packed! I’ve driven by numerous times since and haven’t counted more than 6 cars in the parking lot. It’s been renamed “Lake Marie Lodge”…I’m guessing they did a nice job with the place but that area is HIGHLY seasonal. Boats were already being pulled for the winter. Coming in there in September makes absolutely zero sense. I hope they have deep pockets to keep that place open through the winter, they will need it!

It’s a shame…great location and lots of potential. It’s a really fun area in the summer.

Yeah, everything is about expensive drinks and food.

Its more just hilarious to watch how fucked up the bars are and how he yells at them. I like the people who yell back.

Its not flat out scripted. They just tell the bars and employees that the crazier they act the better the show

No need to even script it. Crazy works.

yes....which translates to $$.

Most (not all, but most) women i know could care less about quality..they care about atmosphere and will gladly overpay on food and drinks for the perception of a great atmosphere. You get women sold on your atmosphere, the men will follow..cha-ching!

I've seen countless examples of this.

Yeah, he's all about women, too

But sometimes, you can tell its a local beer drinkin' establishment and he's pushing these fucked up drinks and expensive beers but you know the locals just want their Miller Lite draft for 2.00 or whatever

Some of the food the show the 'experts' making looks pretty good.

here we are still within a year and overall the Lake Marie Lodge is still benefiting from the makeover. It was a dumpy biker bar before...they've certainly benefited.
