I'm no Anita Alvarez fan. I'm sure some of you saw this nonsense:

But I do believe she is getting a raw deal on this one. She obviously had no self-interest in sitting on this case. Doing so could only hurt her. So she is either a) telling the truth about proceeding methodically and tying up every detail in the prosecution of a cop or b) she sat on it for Rahm's benefit. If it's b, Rahm is as culpable as she is, and probably worse. So he should probably just shut up and let Anita lose her election on her own without the use of his attack dogs. She might have a lot to say about a lot of things if she gets angry enough.

The only reason this is being pointed at Alvarez is to get Foxx into office. These same politicians denouncing her similarly sat by without a peep for the past year. Even further, I believe it is a concerted effort by party leaders to maintain racial on the county level because they think Dorothy Brown is dead meat. Politics is a shitty game.
