I had an endoscopy done as well when I had a colonoscopy because of family medical history issues. I had this doctor that went in to all this long detail about both procedures. When he got done he asked if I had any questions. I asked "You are going to change the probes, right?"

Well.... unfortunately some facilities do the EGD with a pediatric colonoscope and then use the same colonoscope to do the colonoscopy.

I've had three of these guys. ain't no thing. If he has to remove any polyps, you may have a little discomfort, but it's pretty minor.

Yeah, I've had a couple of these....and I totally agree that that white shit you have to drink, along with that Fleet saltwater is a bummer. In my experience, they put me in "twilight".......I had no idea what happened when they were done.
But it's definitely worth it to get the test done.
