Fuck that motherfucker. He's one of those guys who seemed like he was at Purdue for ten years and killed the Illini every game. Usually those types of guys are at Indiana. I think Ted Kitchel and Randy Wittman may still be on the Hoosiers roster. But really, shame on Illinois. Somebody in Champaign should have had enough sense to keep him at home.

Nah, he signed one of the worst contracts in NBA history, so I give the guy props for doing that.

Wasn't the story something along the lines of the Grizzlies owner being upset with Jerry West for not doing something in free agency so West turned around and signed Cardinal to the Jon Koncak/Hot Rod Williams type contract to prove a point?

I just remember there being about a 2 year stretch of Bill Simmons blogs where every NBA trade scenario involved Theo Ratliff or Brian Cardinal's expiring contract.

Eventually those two morphed into Chauncey Billups.

There was a time where you couldn't get a trade done unless Billups was involved.

Aaron Craft was at Ohio State for 17-1/2 years.

The Cubs right now no question have the best team, but I can't root for a team that hasn't won since 1907. The Cubs will find a way to screw it up I think.

Why do you hate the Cub so much JORR?

I don't really hate the Cubs. But it's hard being faced with Cub fan privilege everyday. If I were a Cub fan I'd actually feel good that this loser was betting against them.

I want you and Walt on the bandwagon this year.

You can't root for the Las Vegas White Sox forever.

If every Cub fan were like you I would love to. Unfortunately, Scooter exists.

Yep

I think it was Silvy, who wanted to try to make a wager with Pete over whether the Cubs will win the World Series this year or not. that would be classic. Pete Rose making a bet on Baseball.....why not? Manfred has said he's not getting into the HOF while alive, so nothing to lose anyway. Pete has had a nice history of poor judgment, so the fact that he thinks the Cubs will screw this up is fine by me. Nomination denied.

Everybody does? Then why are the Cubs the favorites in Las Vegas to win the World Series? They should be 30-1 at least, if everyone knows they will screw it up.
