Correct

What movement? it turns out, there is no movement...it was all hot air. He lost and is directing his "movement" to go along with the system that's been destroying the US for years.
#fraud

He's not running the show. His supporters are smarter than he is. If he actually thinks there is some kind of important policy role for him in a Clinton administration, he's batshit crazy. The tears weren't because he lost, they were because his supporters were realizing he's a phony.

You'd think, but that may be giving the sheep a little too much credit.

I'm with JORR.....I think that also explains him getting choked up when his brother nominated him. He realized he let a lot of people down.

I think you are giving Bernie too much credit…and keep in mind, I like a lot of what Bernie had to say in the campaign, but there’s history and some basic common sense here:
1) Bernie is a career politician
2) Bernie did and has aligned himself under the Democratic party
3) The Democratic party chose Hillary as their candidate a long, long time ago.
4) Bernie was incredibly soft on Hillary during the primary. He swung a little harder down the stretch as his popularity grew, but overall….he pussy-footed around Hillary.

If Bernie truly wanted to create a revolution, he had a few different options. He could have exposed Hillary and the Democratic and brought down the party. He could have run as an independent. He didn’t do either. He started with the party and is staying there like a good soldier.

There never was a revolution. Sad thing is….there could have been. Bernie’s popularity grew WAY beyond his and the Democratic parties wildest imagination.

I think you're missing the point. Bernie isn't a revolutionary, but it has to start somewhere. The core people supporting Bernie aren't just rolling over and voting for Clinton. Some of his supporters will, but those are the unprincipled dilettantes like Sarah Silverman rather than true believers. Whether Bernie himself was a true believer or not is immaterial. Trump and Sanders are just the beginning of an era of unrest and upheaval. A Hillary Clinton presidency isn't going to put an end to that.

JORR...I may not have articulated that, but I completely agree.

Trump made a joke out of the GOP. The Democratic party should be shitting their pants. When Hillary wins the election and they control the white house for 4 more years, their credibility will continue to erode. It's going to be really hard to blame the Republicans for everything when they've controlled the white house for 3 terms.
