Tried this place out Saturday evening for the first time.
It's on Geneva Road in Wheaton.
I can't believe I've never tried it since I've lived here for three years.
It was really, really good.
They also allow BYOB - one twelve-pack of beer or two bottles of wine per table.
You don't see that too often at a BBQ place.
I am pretty sure that W_Z had recommended this place a long time ago.
Thanks, Zack!

Did you eat a big meal before you went?

Of course!
I remember someone saying to never go to a restaurant when you are hungry.
I don't remember who that was.

I was there Saturday about 1 pm. Had a combo plate with the pulled pork and the brisket, with sides of the baked beans and potato salad.

Meh. The old place was better.

Now perhaps I needed to go in the evening (I'll give it another chance). But the brisket had the texture of something from the grocer's freezer. Pork was dry. They have five sauces - I really liked the sweet sauce and the apple vinegar. Baked beans were pretty good - potato salad was rather flavorless.
