Why are you having a difficult time accepting reality?
I am. This has turned into a ridiculous conversation.
Here's reality: Kyrie Irving is by pretty much any calculation one of the 15-20 best players in the NBA. Maybe higher. He's proven time and again that he brings his A+ game on the biggest stages, and not every superstar can say that(including LeBron). He's 25 years old and still improving every season. He made it to three straight Finals as the second best player and won a ring. For whatever reasons that only he really knows, he decided that was enough for this stage of his career, and wanted a new challenge. Everything I just said is true, it is reality.
Now that we have that covered, let's move on to his trade request. From your past opinions, it is safe to say that you don't feel players owe teams any particular loyalty. So in this case, you think Kyrie owes not the Cavs, but Lebron. You think this because LeBron is better than Kyrie and helped him win a ring. But LeBron is going to LA after this season. Is he taking Kyrie with? Of course not. So you want Kyrie to give up any personal ambition, as well as any chance of improving his situation for the 2018-2019 season, all for one more season to be LeBron's underappreciated sidekick?
I think it's pretty clear to anyone who's bothered to read our exchanges that I'm being far more objective about Kyrie than you are. You think it's dumb for a player to ask to be traded from LeBron's team, so that has led you to disregard everything in this post and just whine like a petulant kid about Kyrie being a "bitch", about Kyrie "not being shit", etc.
And Kyrie will compete for a championship once again next year and the years after.
