Back in the tournament for the first time since Alfredrick Hughes was kicking ass back in 1985. Doubt they'll get the same #4 seed that 85 team got, but Loyola had a great season, won 28 games and beat Florida. I would expect them to get a pretty respectable seed, maybe as high as 11. Or they could end up in the mythical 5v12 matchup.


Only question is if they're called the Ramblers why is their mascot a husky?

their current mascot, LU Wolf, in recognition of the wolf's association with St. Ignatius. The family coat of arms above the entrance to St. Ignatius of Loyola's birthplace features two wolves drinking from a cauldron.
