Looks like it was a big deal to Ortiz because Liddel KO'd him the only two previous times they met (2006 & 2004).

If you watch the fight on that link, Ortiz goes to the unsportsmanlike measure to dig an imaginary grave and bury Chuck in it.

You could tell Chuck was fighting on knees that probably lacked ACLs, among other ligaments, though.
