Proactively reducing assessed values for property taxes for 2020. Seems fiscally irresponsible given the lack of receipts on other areas - unless tubby gets his bailout - but I’ll take it.

Don't get too excited until you see your actual tax bill. Lower assessment with a higher "state equalizer" and/or "local tax rate" could me the same or higher tax due.

yup... the various agencies still need the same amount of money. so if everyone's assessed value goes down the amount of money needed stays the same...
