Trump has alienated women and every person of color. He will win the white male vote only and lose all others, going down hard to Hillary like Mittens did in 2012 to Obama.

I think you're right.

People are underestimating just how much Clinton is disliked. I don't want a Trump presidency, but I fear that's where we're headed.

If Republicans aren't voting for Trump, how did he get the nomination?

I'm referring to people like SH, my parents, and many others who claim to be Libertarians, but vote for Republicans in every election. Most people that I know who claim to be Libertarians are full of shit. Like FF correctly pointed out, many of Scorehead's beliefs are contradictory to what true Libertarianism is. I think some people who identified as R's were embarrassed by Bush, and now Trump, so they claim to be Libertarians.

In this polarized political climate, the election will obviously be determined by the so-called battleground states, where Republicans will need to suppress Democratic turnout to win. Since Republicans hold the governor's seats in Nevada, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, Iowa, and Wisconsin, it's quite possible that Trump could defeat Clinton--assuming he can work effectively with various state officials to swing the vote count in key areas. A little manipulation will go a long way.

People think Trump only gets white male voters but I'm telling you its not true. People dont want to admit they like Trump or are voting for him. It's embarassing to them because he says and does such stupid shit. The old saying is that signs don't vote... Well in this day and age, facebook posts dont vote. You can hate trump all you want but for every person that says how much they hate trump or clinton, only probably 5% of them are going to vote. That leaves you with which candidate can actually make people want to leave their house and drive to the polls and pull the lever, Trump has proven that he is getting people to do that. I'm not sure how in the hell its happening, but its happening. I have no faith that Hillary can do that. She lost to Obama and she barely is squeaking by against Bernie. She inspires no one.

I think turnout will be extremely high for this election, especially as voters begin to realize that three Supreme Court appointments are potentially at stake. The white, college-educated voters who currently aren't supporting Trump will fall in line with the Republicans, and the race will be very tight in the electoral college. It's possible that Clinton could win the popular vote while losing the election.

I don't think we'll see as high a voter turnout as we did in 2008 or as in 1992. The DEMs were brilliant in those alections in getting the 18-29 yr old demo out to vote. I don't see Hillary or Trump able to do that like they did with Barry and Billy.

You are correct on this. There are a lot of angry white people, male or female, who are going to vote for Trump.

probably like the green party people who vote democrat.

Midge, c'mon man. Trump cannot win. You can't possibly fall for this stuff. And as far as republicans voting for Trump, I declared republican and voted for Trump, so he could go up against Bernie. So much for that.

it won't be extremely high, and college educated voters are voting Hillary. Sorry man.

not a chance. Trump is not winning. Clinton will win easily.

Trump rec'd more votes in the primary than any other republican candidate ever. Hillary had to backdoor her way to the nomination via the superdelegates.

And lets not forget she still has the investigation hanging over her head. I'm telling you its going to be a close one.

Hillary received more votes than Trump and she didn't backdoor her way in. She had a far bigger lead in pledged delegates than President Obama ever had.

Yep she is the answer. A lying, vindictive control freak. I will be glad she is in charge and in complete control next time slick Willy goes on a cigar pole smoke with an intern. Staff lived in fear of this so called first lady prone to fits of temper and paranoia. Yep she is the one to lead this country.

Maybe "we the people" can get a superPAC together to donate enough bribes, I mean donations, to the Clinton Foundation so that we can actually maybe have a say in our nation's business if Hillary wins the presidency.

True. However, Trump knows economy and how to build wealth. Hillary knows how to spend everyone elses money. Not that she makes any what with the 200,000 speaking fee for her wisdom of zero.

Hillary Clinton has repeatedly criticized Donald Trump for saying that he wants to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico, but a 2006 video by then-Sen. Clinton seems to suggest she agreed with Trump at one time.

“The Mexican government’s policies are pushing migration north,” Clinton told the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, D.C., 10 years ago. “There isn’t any sensible approach, besides what we need to do simultaneously: secure our borders with technology, personnel, physical barriers, if necessary, in some places.”

The proposal seems to contradict Clinton’s oft-repeated 2016 campaign statement that the U.S. shouldn’t be building walls, but bridges. Clinton has also gone after Trump’s proposal to deport illegal immigrants out of the U.S., but in the same 2006 speech, Clinton said she was open to deporting those who have committed crimes.

“If they’ve committed transgressions, they should be obviously deported,” she stated.

She will say and do anything to get elected president. I wouldn't trust this woman with my dry cleaning, let alone to lead our great country.
