He was probably just choosing to be bad the last couple of years, even though he had good WRs, TE and one of the best QB-coaches in the country. Decent run game also.

I like the choice he made to have most of his teammates resent him also.

I'd take a flyer on Kap if I was one of several teams out there. I don't think there are 31 QBs better than him right now, and he was a few plays away from leading the 49ers to a super bowl win. He's still got some potential.

Cutler isn't bad. He is average to below average for a starting quarterback. Kaepernick was average to below average last year. He was not bad.

What you ultimately know, and why you won't answer, is that Kaepernick in 2014 compares pretty equally to Cutlers career numbers and his numbers with the Bears, and even the last 3 years he wasn't significantly better than "bad Kaepernick".

That is why you keep on saying things like "Smart fants told me that XXX".

Keep in mind the barometer that is used by Brick while assessing such situations. Etwaun Moore is considered by Brick to be a "solid contributor". I must have missed the last three games because if memory serves me correct he hasn't contributed a damn thing.
