You said all the week I could put in front of you. If I put $100 worth of pot in front if you, it is my belief that 1) you wouldn't be able to smoke it all and 2) if you did, you certainly would not be able to drive safely.

You said that it would be as dangerous, if not more dangerous. I can assure you, at least in my case, that is incorrect.
See above. And as I said with FF earlier, it doesn't have to be one joint, $100 worth of pot, or just a couple of hits. IMO when somebody is totally stoned (like when somebody is totally drunk, as opposed to having a beer or two), they shouldn't be driving.

Now, I'm not going to go out and spend $100 or $200 on pot and turn this into a McNugget gate board event, so I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

I was basically told that I can't talk intelligently about the subject unless I've done it ten times.

I'm just asking if that also goes for heroin.

I'm not comparing the two, except to point out just how stupid "Where did you play your ball?" responses are.

Ive answered that.

Do you not see that driving may not be 100% safe but your concerns might be over top? Do you not allow for that possibility?

I don't know. I've never done either.

How can I know anything about heroin without doing it 10 times?

How did you avoid smoking pot in college?

The best way to describe an acid trip, is that you hear colors, and see sounds.

No, see that's not what you do though. You act like an expert and present your opinion as fact in many discussions

Do you ever defer and listen to people that might know more than you about certain things?

I find that is the best way to learn.

You would be wrong on both beliefs.

Like Chus said, and I don't mean this insultingly Frank, it is sorta obvious when somebody is talking about weed that doesn't have a lot of knowledge about it. There gets to a point of extremely diminishing returns with weed, unlike alcohol. $100 is about 7 grams of good weed. I could easily smoke that all in one sitting(might take a minute), and then go drive without any problems. If you ever change your mind on paying for the weed, I'd be happy to demonstrate.

I smoked a bowl about 30 minutes ago and I'm gonna head to Portillo's now. Been nice knowing you guys if I don't make it back.

Tried it once. Made it three houses down and parked the car and walked. Best decision I ever made.

It was before the peak of the trip, and it was cold. It was like a mile away too. Thought I could handle it and immediately realized that shit was crazy. Was when I was 18 and still figuring out how to do drugs without killing myself. It's been successful so far!

I'm telling you that I could drive safely, after smoking a large quantity. I've done it for twenty years. Much more so in my younger days, as I am usually at home these days.

"Totally stoned" is an arbitrary point. If FF and I smoked a doobie with a couple of noobs, I guarantee that they would appear to be more intoxicated than FF and I. You would probably think that they smoked more.

Some people can drive high, and some can't. It really is this simple.

You are taking this way to literally. $100, $1000, $10,000, 2 bong hits, 1 joint, whatever.

I have smoked many, many times before. I haven't been able to partake in 7 years because I drive a company vehicle and if I get into an accident (my fault or not) I have to take a drug test. Whether that is far or not is a conversation for a different day. But I do know what being stoned is like, I know that it can stay in your system for a long time so the simple fact that you test positive for it can have little or not effect on a traffic accident.

The point is when somebody is so incredibly stoned that they can barely keep their eyes open, or they can't walk, or they are laughing hysterically and uncontrolably for minutes at a time, or whatever. it is not safe for them to be driving a vehicle. That is a fact that really cannot be debated. Somebody could easily have 3 or 4 hits from a joint or hitter and be perfectly fine. Another person could have the same amount of pot from the same batch of weed and be useless for the next hour. Same way somebody could have 2 or 3 beers and be fine, or have two or 3 and be stumbling and bumbling.

Ultimately though, you guys have all pretty much agreed with me. Marijuana can be dangerous when you are driving and will be for a lot of people besides the really heavy users(which is ironically kind of true for alcohol too).

Even Bagels said he would support an accurate marijuana breathalyzer, so I'm not sure what I really need to learn here.

Ill bet Chus and FF are in that category

Picture it like this. Its like if you stopped feeling the effects of alcohol at 3 beers and everything after that didnt get you any drunker

My days of taking LSD are long in the rear view mirror, despite somebody taking an ill-informed shot at me yesterday.

It's been 15 years or so since I dropped acid.

Of course it can be debated Frank, and that's because it is not a "fact" in any sense of the word. None of that shit happens to me anymore after I smoke weed. Literally none of those symptoms.
