Did not happen, Mr McAdams.

Considering he painted his house for free I think this is accurate.

Where did you ever get the idea that I did any work at Mac's home for free? That's about the dumbest thing ever posted anywhere. I quoted Mac a very fair (not higher, not lower than normal) price and he paid in full. In fact, he even tipped me and paid more than the invoice called for. Maybe you would do work for free, I don't care if it's Rachel McAdams, the job isn't free.

It's worse than I thought. Mac has to buy his friends.

Oh, so Mac just happened to choose a painter who lives 1.5 hours away.

Can I get an estimate for my house too?

The deal was Steve paints the house and Mac agrees to a game of golf with him at some time in the future

Actually, I met Mac, North, Jiggets and the rest of the original crew before the Score ever started broadcasting. I had contracted the work wallpapering and painting the old Score/ WXRT building on Belmont. Bruce Wolf was originally supposed to be Jiggets partner and they were all doing mock broadcasts in preparation for the real broadcasts. Wolf reconsidered and quit before they ever got on the air and North begged Danny Lee (who I contracted the work with) for the chance to be Jiggets partner. north was originally just supposed to do weekends and fill in work. Anyway, I saw Dan (and others) afterwards at remotes from time to time and Dan mentioned needing some work done at his home one time. I drive an hour or more when I do work in Lincoln Park, so working in Highland isn't that much different. I have jobs I do for customers at their lake homes that are in Wisconsin and Michigan as well. I usually just stay there while the work is being done. Do some boating, fishing and swimming after the work day is done. Not so bad....

Oh and No, you cannot get an estimate

And that is not because you live out of state. It only because you live in the Maywood of the New York metro area.

Steve's white hood wouldn't be well-received in BRick's neighborhood. Forgive me for responding to the poster and not the post, all.

It's kind of like the time I gave you an Armani suit, and all I wanted in return was dinner at Mendy's.

It's cool. It's only bad when I do it.

I didn't realize badrogue was chus's nemesis in this thread.

Both of these guys are fantastic posters and major assets to the board's unique culture.

What walls did you paper at in the old Score building Steve?

North's office? Mac's office?
