I'm not criticizing Catholicism here. I'm simply making observations. So what is the "misinformation" you feel I'm imparting?

I've been to plenty of Catholic masses- though admittedly not as many as you- and I would never say that scripture, although usually cited, is the centerpiece of the Catholic faith, although it's obviously a basis.

The New Covenant is summed up very simply in John 3:16. How often is that verse a focal point in a Catholic mass? How often does a Catholic priest mention Jeremiah 31 or Hebrews 8?

I think that he presents as someone who understands that within every major religion there supposed leaders who use the power of their pastoral office for personal power trips and things that are outside what they are legitimately not supposed to do and even at cross purposes with their doctrine. In my view, Pope Francis and many other liberal woke church leaders fall in that category.

I don't think that's exactly how it went down in John 2:4.
