Don't you have another workers party rally to go to?


The union showed their true colors by forming picket lines in front of places where parents could drop their kids off who ACTUALLY WANT TO WORK.

And of course they're wearing red. The international color of communism.

You know what really cracks me up. Head of the teachers union who made the comment about it being us vs the rich people makes over $200,000 for being head of the union.

It's actually part of a larger point. The federal local and state agencies need a complete accounting.

There's so much paperwork and such and too many people for some jobs and not enough for the less pleasant jobs (Not talking just about schools).

I actually think an accounting of all the money spent won't result in as many job losses as putting people where they are needed. You have places where 4 people are doing 2 peoples jobs and others were 2 people are doing 4 people's jobs.

Oh, these teachers. First we give them the day off on holidays, then we give them vacations. Now they want a raise? Oh, the horror.

Shouldn't you be asking your father for another handout right about now?

My daughter's teacher this year needs to be better organized. She's always a day or two behind the schedule and homework schedule. Makes it a little confusing when Poetry review is on Thursday and we get the Poetry on Thursday night.

or maybe I was spoiled by the insane organizational skill and attention to detail displayed by her Kindergarten teacher.

If you loved her you would move to the suburbs and get her a real education.

I've told her this. She won't listen.

The irony is that she repeatedly calls herself dumb too. She makes comments like, "Even someone as dumb as me...", yet she has no problem shouting down the supposed stupid - a group to which she solidly belongs.

I think she's being self deprecating when she calls herself stupid, but a part of me wishes that there was some self-awareness sprinkled in there. Perhaps some humility as well.
