For the record, I also support the reinstatement of traitors and cowards like Keeping Score and Terry's Peeps. And even a shallow, disingenuous and megalomaniacal poster like Kid Cairo should have a place here. Every village, after all, needs an Idiot.

Posts that are believed to undermine the moderator or board can be deleted; no poster should be expelled unless he repeatedly refuses to accept the posting parameters defined by the moderator.

In the old days, I supported the banning of Revenge of Mao because his carpet bombing of the message board was clearly intended to destroy it. Based on the comments I've read, it doesn't seem like any of the recently banned posters have engaged in that kind of behavior.

This guy gets it.

And yet you reinstated Terry's Peeps, a co-founder of the other site along with KS and OKC.

In the case of OKC and KS, the punishment should fit the crime.

Just as one wouldn't charge a child with attempted murder for lobbing a water balloon at his daddy, one must view the OKC-KS migration with a sense of humor, not outrage. As you have previously stated, their message board is a failure. So what's the harm in letting them back? If they are allowed to return, the complete and utter verbal annihilation to which they are subjected will probably satisfy your electronic bloodlust more than any banning ever would.
