I'm not a guy who thinks "OMG we just have to have Moser." However, it is pretty apparent that Loyola is a system team, which has to be attributed to coaching. He outcoached some pretty good coaches in the tournament.
I have watched more talented Loyola teams of the past couple of decades squander what they have against worse competition. I'm please there is finally one that overachieved.
I have a friend who is the sports editor as a newspaper and who covered Moser when he was at ISU and beyond. He also has a lot of friends in Chicago media. He basically said the same thing Seacrest's guy said. There are a lot of people who aren't big fans of Moser's. But I agree with you that he has to get credit for this year... that was a very well-coached team.
