Yes for about four years. Was with the same person for 30. Kids left the house. That’s the story.

I have not specifically targeted the under 40 (and under 30 crowd). But the 40 somethings I have been with are chewed up by life. The dating pool is limited up here, so add 15-20 years to most of the women from their biological age. I dated a 43 year old from Wheaton, and while attractive, she had the self esteem of a teenager.

It’s been a lot of interesting experiences. The current one seems to be a keeper.

$ugar Daddy life should only come with one expectation.

Ideal age is 20.3. before that they are too naive and/or conceited but after 21 they quickly turn sour on life.

With 100% sincerity, have fun, but be careful. Don't make additions to the chewed up.

Sorry to hear. I had no idea. I got a different perception from your photos.

My observations of the secondary market is that men of all ages and economic levels do pretty well. I hope to never know first hand.

I don't judge about your post marital choices. Why limit yourself? I hope you find happiness.

Man...that royally sucks. I get fixed 19 years ago. I'm pretty sure I'd know by now if there was a follow-up needed

You're not wrong on the 40 somethings. My 2 year stint of being single did nothing but attract un-happily married women. Once I finally just gave up and figured I'd just be single, I encountered what would become my wife.

Lots of interesting stuff in the dating world over the past four years. Now I was with that brunette (she is 35 now) for 2.5 years of it, so it has really only been 18 months. I will say these things:

-Older women (50 and up) throw themselves at you. They are also extremely defensive about guys my age (49) dating anyone younger. I have not touched anyone older than me although I do not target a certain age group.
-The 40's women, which should really be my main dating pool are messed up. I hung out with two never marrieds, and it is obvious why no one has ever married them. Now they will bang you all day everyday. My favorite story about that is one of them said, "that's the wrong hole but go ahead". Yeah they are that desperate. One was only married once but for about 15 years. She was completely repressed. Then I met one who was pretty hot but married three times. She had married a college division one football player, dated a pro hockey coach, and even dated a Chicago Bears lineman. Thirty minutes into our first date, and after she gave me her fuck list, she said, "I have handcuffs at home, want to come back now." So the four 40-somethings all had major issues.
-The twenty-somethings up here all have kids but never married. So you are dealing with baby daddy issues on top of constant pot use. But they are still in good enough shape to be attractive, and they try very hard. You deal with the PTSD of all their bad relationships, which is the main downside.
-Finding women to date or just hook up with is very easy. I never use a dating app, but rather just hang out in bars and such. I had more women in 2022 than my entire life combined albeit I was married for 24 years and with that person 30 overall. I was easily on pace to surpass that by mid-year 2023 but ended up finding the current GF in late April. By far the best woman I have ever been with all in. Now my ex-wife was awesome- sweet and easy going- but just not into doing anything other than watching the Food Network.

So those are my experiences mainly built up in the last 18 months.

Someone's doing a lot of pegging. Why do you want a serious relationship so soon after 30 years?

It is all good. It was my choice to leave really driven by whether I wanted the next 30 years to be with the person I met in high school. Once the kids went to college, the house was incredibly boring. I was not sure I could do it happily for 30 more years.

The only real issue is that I had 100% stability and every day was a known quantity, and now I live with a lot more interesting and flexible lifestyle. Plus working from home, I pretty much do whatever I want whenever I want to. It has been a lot of fun.

As someone who spent his entire late teenage and entire 20's going to school and taking high stakes exams, and then raising kids until 45, I needed to get out into the world. The entire journey has been great.

The only person that knew I was divorced was Harvard Dan because he met that brunette gf at one of his band events. Otherwise, I had not mentioned it here before.

Someone's doing a lot of pegging. Why do you want a serious relationship so soon after 30 years?

I have always preferred a serious relationship. In fact the brunette and I should be married by now. But she has this manic bipolar streak that just got to be too much. She was amazing but for that 5% of the time where she would rage hard.
