That's not true.

When Quade got the interim job after Lou retired in 2010, B&B were in the "Why not give the guy a chance?" camp. However, during the 2011 season they regularly acknowledged that the guy was a boob who was clearly in over his head after it became apparent. And it didn't take long either - maybe about a month into the season. From there, they made fun of him pretty much on a daily basis.

No, they actively supported his hiring in reaction to the grassroots Sandberg campaign. I have no idea how quickly they disavowed their support in 2011 because I really don't tune in that much anymore.
