There's no doubt in my mind the Bolingbrook Police dropped the damn ball and appeared to drag this case to a point where Drew might have actually been found not guilty the longer this case continued.

Regardless of what you may think of Drew Petersen (and I think he is allegedly scum), it should make you very uncomfortable to live in a state where a conviction could be obtained with such (in my opinion) blatantly inadmissible testimony. Kind of a win the battle, lose the war sort of thing - enjoyable in the extreme short run.

It is somewhat amusing to see the scorn heaped upon his lawyers for doing their job.

Always interesting to hear your points. I would think that your professional self and personal self are sometimes at odds.

I think Drew is as guilty as the day is long, but we have a justice system for a reason. This sets a terrible and rather terrifying precedent for anybody that may happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time in the future.

I don't think the statement is that absurd. SHARK never said the government should put him to death. He was just saying he think Peterson is a murderer and should die. Many people think that murderers should die.

I've got no problem with the death penalty. I just thought his statement was a little scary when saying "Drew Peterson should die right now. Like they should have stuck the needle in his arm while the verdict was being read. I'm not on board for that.
