Sure there are Scorehead types but I think most suburbanites like the idea of living in a city.

Well, there's a lot of code involved in suburban living and a whole lot of it comes down to "no black people", or if we don't want to take this into another endless CSFMB racial discussion, then "people who think exactly the way I do".

Also, I'm pretty sure that my grandparents weren't so afraid of non-whites that they had to move to a high rise condo with 24 hour security and secured parking spaces like some others are.

No. I don't care about white flight.
I live in the burbs because I was born in them, because I enjoy my quiet street and dark skies.
I couldn't afford property in the city. And given the job opportunity in the city I think I'm better off here.
I am a bit claustrophobic so I like the open spaces I have here. My property is about 400 yards from Moraine Hills so sometimes I have whitetails in my yard. A few months ago I saw a fox trekking across my street corner.
These things appeal to me I am resentful that someone who never really experienced these things has the balls to imply racism.
