Baseball banter is the best.It is great to argue about how good a 19 or 20 year old kid is going to be in 4 or 5 years. Everyone has an opinion or a guess but in reality no one has a clue.

It's a shame baseball season only has about 3 weeks left.

He's also giving him himself.some wiggle room because any WS clincher is likely to wrap up at night rather than the day. Though he was joking in previous promises to quit the board, this latest ultimatum proves you just can't trust him to follow through.

That's weird. That's not a normal adjustment. It's like he's closing a deal with a firm handshake with his balls

Hawger, why the hell are your Brewers jacking around Jimmy Nelson? Does Marco Estrada have pictures of Doug Melvin leaving a bathhouse?

Great question, but I think your answer will be very soon from everything I have been reading. Estrada has 1 more start, and I think it will be his last. They will call up Nelson after the all star break.

Does anyone else remember the rants Mike Murphy would go on regarding Mark Parent? For some reason he absolutely loathed both Parent and Scott Bullett. I remember Parent being reacquired by the Cub and pulling a McGriff years before Fred did. Maybe that was the reason for the hate, but what did Scott Bullett ever do to anybody?

The only other time I remember someone going off on somebody seemingly out of the blue like that was Benkowski ripping Bill Buckner one overnight shift. Turned out there was some personal incident between the two that went down in the produce section of a Jewel food store.

So as far as prospects go the Sox will have Rodon and ABreu basically right away right?
