Sad day yesterday indeed. The thing that made Doug great was when he was on the air on like say M&H or B&B. He would make you laugh but you also learned something about the game of football.

There was also no pretense with Doug Buffone. What you saw is what you got. I happened to spend a lot of time in the car yesterday listening to the tributes yesterday with Dan and Barry. Heard some great stories.

I wasn't paying attention during the best of his career, and I am one of a few here who did not like the postgame show. I cannot think of anyone more committed to his team or one who showed his devotion so clearly for so long. Thoughts for his friends and family.

Greenie had some very nice words to say about Doug this morning as well- first guy to put Mike on TV, their weekend radio show together, how Doug got Greenie to fill in for him for a show all compted on the riverboat in Aurora back when Mike had no money.
