So....the union gets a bigger pay bump than they initially demanded, they don't have to do any merit based anything, none of the evalution metrics will be implemented, no longer school day...pretty much they got to raid the city/state coffers and gave up practically nothing? Am I wrong about this?

And now they are still protesting and will hold a meeting to discuss whether they want to accept the proposal? And then I hear that a lot of the teachers and other union members are really upset with this Jabba Da' Hut leader because they think she didn't ask for enough and that she gave up too much?

Holy fucking shit, mayne, how does any of this get paid for?

maybe the city could pay poor people with kids $10,000 to move out of the city. that would save a lot of cash in the long run.
