Not knowing that Brett Favre sucks isn't evidence that he sucks less than quarterbacks who suck.

I don't think it takes much of a decent anything to suggest Brett Farve-- a 44 year old guy who is not in game shape, has been coaching high school football, and hasn't played in an NFL game in almost 3 years-- is a better option than a current starting NFL player.

Maybe Alex Fernandez could help the Sox pitching staff next season.

More likely if knuckleballer Wilbur Wood came back.

So now that it comes out that the Favre question was just a joke amongst some spitballers will the apologies be forthcoming?

The year he threw for 4000 yds his shoulder was nil?

Or the following year when he threw for 2500 playing hurt and with a number of injuries to his wide outs?

Yep.

He was banged up then, was bad with the Vikings in his final year. 2500 yards in 13 games and 19 INT's w/ 198 YPG. He QB's them all the way to a 5-8 record before pooping himself.

His 1st season with the Vikings was a fine one, no doubt, but that was 4 years ago. His final season with them, as I pointed out above, was a fucking disaster.

Dude is toast.

Had a prime Randy Moss to chuck the ball to, The lead singer of The Cure to hand it off to and Chris Carter to throw to. I may have the seasons mixed up but his 2nd year with the Vikings was not so good.

You know who's a good QB in the NFL that nobody talks about?

7-time Pro Bowler, Super Bowl MVP, 2-time Offensive Player of the Year, and the 4th most prolific scoring QB in NFL history Drew Brees.

I'm Tom Tolbert.

Bobby Knight's son wants him to return to Indiana before he dies. I heard that one yesterday,I think. Some of those "minutes" are not that bad. It usually gives you a national view that isn't covered by all this Bear talk on the Score.

He actually began his career in a place you'd never guess. san diego. Yes, before Philip Rivers, there was Drew Brees.

Derrick Rose hurt his other knee and will be out for a year. When he returns, he may or may not be as good as he once was. He wasn't too good these last 10 games but that might not mean anything. He might even lead the Bulls to the Championship or he might not.

I'm John Feinstein.

Boomer Esiason apparently is also scared of the demonic rantings of Richard Sherman.

I think there's an argument to make that it wasn't a classy move. It wasn't.

But, it was damn entertaining.

Because the NFL is such a classy league.

I loved it, and I want to see more of it.

Ray Rice was charged with third degree aggravated assault yesterday, after allegedly beating his girlfriend in an Atlantic City elevator. He is facing three to five years in prison. Roger Goodell may suspend him BEFORE he goes to trial. I'm John Feinstein.

Boomer let me know this morning that the NBA owners' letter was filled with "unacceptable racial stereotypes".

What are the acceptable racial stereotypes?

Was the audio all reverb-y and weird on that or is my AM reception messed up? Feinstein sounded like he recorded that on the shitter.
