Correct, wasteful. Nas wasn't demanding Hoffy implement Napoleonic strategy. Just a little courtesy of putting 2 minutes of thought into hist attack. You are well aware the game allows you 24 hours to find 5 minutes of down time to devise a strategy and attack.

As we said in the chat, I think Nas was a little aggressive toward Hoffy. I think Nas had a point, and did not deliver it very well. Hoffy took it to be something other than it was.

That being said, Hoffy seems to be admitting little care for the "clan war" part of the game, if I'm taking his posts correctly. If that is the case, I'm not sure why getting held out of the war was a huge issue. It doesn't lock you out from any other part of the game.

It was unfortunate that you felt the need to quit. I can promise you that was not the intention of any poster. We really want everyone to join and just have fun. However, it is a strategy game and strategy is discussed. This leads to there being two relatively painless rules. Attack in war and unless the victory is already assured do an attack that could give us more stars to get a victory. Everyone understands that people are busy at times. It is possible that if you don't attack you won't be included in the next war but this gives others a chance since we can't include everyone unless we have an even number(20, 25, 30 people).

I hope you will consider joining again. It really is a lot of fun. We aren't allowed to bring the fun stuff to the board so it looks like it is only negative but everyone seems to be enjoying it.

Its just the way he said I didn't seem to care and that I always suck at wars. All honesty, I spent money and time as I could afford. To be honest, I still don't understand how some of the different troops attack. One person tells me don't use barbarians. One tells me use all dragons. And so on. On top of that, I had been doing a lot of upgrades, so I didn't have enough for more dragons. I simply said that dragons are expensive when I don't get much back from attacking lower level guys. Apparently he took that as I don't want to help win wars. I participated in every war and frequently attacked around my level to assure more stars. I also enjoyed the chat, but I don't care about the drama.

The only serious part of the game is your two attacks during the war. BR explained it well. You just have to give a decent effort. I am one of the worst at getting six stars, and the folks have been nothing but helpful and supportive. My value over replacement coc is decidely negative.

Would love to have Hoffy back.
