Can you point to in the bible where God ranks sins from Worst to Non-Worst?

The gay thing isn't even in the Ten Commandments, and I would think those are the big ones. We let murderers marry, why not gays too?

But not gay murderers. We have to draw a line somewhere.

That's not a knife in your back ...

You keep saying that.

What is illogical about my religion?

Well, the concept of gods word interpreted by man, who is not capable of understanding his glory, is in and of itself a paradox and truthfully a considerable contradiction. And, knowing man is fundamentally flawed, by his very nature, and of course original sin, being charged with recording His word as "inspired" by God, being without prejudice, is yet another glaring contradiction.

In other words, if the bible is the work of man as inspired by god, it is as flawed as man himself, which is to say that it must itself be flawed.

Course, we could always just chalk that up to "faith".

That works when the answers don't add up.

Always.

There are venial, mortal, and eternal sins. I don't agree with how some are categorized.

I think we can all agree, whether we believe in God or not, that some actions are far worse than others.

Stealing ten bucks is wrong, but certainly not on the level of molesting a child or committing a murder.

Apparently, one can just ask forgiveness for fucking a baby and God's cool with it.

So, you accept the biblical teaching of original sin, but then use original sin as a reason not to believe what is in the bible?

Being cool with something, and being able to forgive, are two different things.

Not sure that is is the case in the Catholic Church. I'm almost positive that they can not.

You guys are kind of Bernsteining Seacrest. He has beliefs but usually does the right thing. He's a judgy dick sometimes but doesn't hold it against people. He often fights for the right of what people believe in even if it is wrong.

Pretty much how I see it. Most would probably like Seacrest but for some reason he catches hell.

You misunderstand. I DO like Seacrest. I say it all the time. I can't possibly understand or agree with his religious and political viewpoints but he is a good man and I'm sure he means well in life.

I do not think most people get this part. These days there is no redemption. You are bad if you do something bad and are always so. Binary. There are people on death row I assume that have done things and are truly remorseful. There are also others that would do it over and over again. Why everything is one extreme or the other is beyond me.

Not if our girl has anything to do with it. She did what she could to prevent that. She broke the law trying to prevent it.

I don't think most people are remorseful anymore.

What about the things you can't help or fear or things you decide aren't horrible?
