LTG still refusing to accept facts. NBA draft ratings couldn't hold a candle to the NFL ratings. Both were done on an "out of season" Thursday.

Fucking lunatic doesn't have the guts to admit he is wrong. Very sad.

Damn you are pretty stupid. If i asked you to verify that statement with your dumbass you couldn't.

How much do you want to bet that you couldn't quote the statement of me ",not accepting facts" with your lying ass?

I never disputed anything you idiot. I merely corrected an incorrect statement.

Either way NFL draft vs NBA draft was never my argument clown and the mere fact that you and the other hanger ons like JLN have to keep changing the debate in order to "be correct" only illustrates that my original conclusion was correct.

Didn't take much for his unhinged ass.

Now can you please (in an effort to appear objective at least) explain to those fools how they are "moving the goalposts"?

Dismissal without context is his only retort. Lying merely for the sake of lying at this point.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong is a lie dumbass. You are too stupid to even know what it is that you are posting at this point.

I'm still waiting for the evidence that i haven't "accepted facts" also. I'm sure your lying ass will be ducking that one.

I'm taking your word for it. If JLN is wrong he should acknowledge being wrong... but this item is a distraction from the sound beating in TV ratings. I think you can acknowledge the TV ratings for each league's drafts align with the biasbrigade's statements that NFL is king

NFL draft also takes place during a time of year before many locations in the U.S. have decent weather. Summer weather...not everyone will be in front of a TV.

Additionally, NFL is a sport best watched in front of the TV in the offseason or during the season. NBA fans are attending the games. Maybe even out playing basketball at the local gym or park. Your average NFL fan is an out of shape 46 year old. If he wasn't watching the NFL Draft, he'd be watching Dives, Diners and Drive-Ins

I'm taking your word for it. But i think you can acknowledge the TV ratings for each league's drafts align with the NFL is king theme that many have been saying

Of course. This has never been an apples to apples comparison for me. They made it that once their NFL draft trumps everything NBA related B.S. blew up on them.

My essential point has been validated. If the only thing that they have to hang their hat on is a draft that only draws big ratings on the first day then they don't have much.

Regular season and post Season NBA is simply a bigger story than Off Season football. Unless there is a huge story that must be covered then McNeil should never simply just ignore it as he has in the past.

2.6 overnight rating. It's important to use the same metrics when comparing ratings, and I still can't find how many overall or average viewers the Draft last night drew, but the first round of the NFL Draft drew a 7.0 overnight rating, and the combined coverage of all rounds drew a 3.57.

Third day NFL Draft coverage draws 37% more viewers than the NBA Draft.

This is unsurprisingly false. 3rd day of the NFL draft avg 2.9 viewers. NBA draft had over 3 million viewers.

Here is the actual quote you lying piece of shit. His information was false and he even admitted as much. You conveniently edited it in order to seem right with your fabricating ass.

You really are one worthless motherfucker.

Agree that the NFL is a TV show, of course, but isn't the NBA moving in that direction, too, with huge TV contracts but half-empty arenas? The NBA draft clearly had a large audience, but I don't know that it would have been much larger if NBA fans weren't so darn busy shooting hoops themselves.

I think the NBA should change the schedule then to match the NFL. Why have the Finals when the weather is nice?

NBA fans are attending the game? That's what 35k each? Not a significant portion of the fan base.

WNBA draft had more viewers than your sport of choice so there is that. NHL draft.

As far as Arenas go NBA had something like a 95% rate in terms of tickets sold for each of its teams. I'd have to look it up again but i remember reading that.

NBA can't compete with the NFL head to head but it shouldn't be an afterthought either. McNeil and other hosts at the Score have done that for years and i think that it has hurt their ratings. No way of knowing for sure but its hard to see them growing an audience with this being the case.

 Tickets sold is OK to use for NBA, but when you posted the Twitter pics from the "half empty" NFL stadiums and I retorted with tickets sold, you blew a gasket and claimed I was too dumb to understand how attendance actually works. Do as you say, not as you do, huh?

There you go again you lying piece of shit. I never said that it could so there is nothing to apologize for.

As far as half empty NBA stadiums go i don't know if that is true and its not going to be true because an admitted NBA hater says that it is either.

I used tickets sold because i have not really paid that much attention to it to know.

Bulls games are pretty much always filled with fans.
