Preparing for a looooong season for Swans fans. 96-76 loss at home. Yeah, missing 3 key players but still looked awful. Elevated to head coach Dean Cox will def have gray hair in a few weeks. He didn't look to good 'in the booth'.

G Western Sydney Giants clobber Collingwood 104-52. And they were missing 3 of their best players. Only one goal scored in third term on a 3 bounce runaway by little helmet guy Darcy Jones who had a real nice game.
Lots of Giants players were excellent.
No highlights up yet.

MANY picking Giants to win the flag this year. Would be fantastic.

#17 Finn Callahan declared best on the ground today. Giants just resigned the 2021 late year #1 pick for the Giants until 2029.

Golden boy Nick Daicos of Cillingwood is #1. Collingwood is always treated like the Kansas City Chiefs.

Absolutely no question about Giants' talent. It's phenomenal. So much smoother and more potent than Collingwood today. And without key players in Hogan, Green and Stringer, too. Callaghan, Taylor, Whitfield and Ash outstanding. And plenty more where that came from. They have great depth and evenness across the park. Just a bit more steadiness in the big moments (which will come naturally in the younger players) and they're going to be very hard to toss over the next few years.

20 minute Mini Match of yesterday's shocker that saw the lowly Richmond Tigers beat the Carlton Blues (Brothers). Down by 41 points nearing halftime, the Tigers did the improbable and won 82-69. Overall #1 draft pick Sam labor had a very good game for the Tigers. 80,000 at the MCG for this one.
