Better than Texit.

It is a downloadable text Message app that replaces the default iPhone / Samsung / Verizon / AT&T apps.

"Who needs a third party texting app?"

I thought like you once. And then I tried it. So many customization options...so much faster than the default apps...and free. I highly recommend it.

Frigging kids.

Nothing you have to say is so important you can't wait 2 minutes to call someone with it. If it's not worth a call, it's not worth saying.

Used to be order and decency in this county.

Now it's just people thumbing their phones with every inane synaptic firing that occurs inside their thick skulls. Thank God for death, and may it be swift for all of us.
nothing above was written seriously

Or not ... the program is probably neat. Texting's actually terrific ... it's a great way to avoid contact with people ... the self-scan checkout of the communication world.

Anyway ... what's so special about this fancy program that you can't do with built-in texting? I mean, it's ... text. I'm guessing it has to be centered around functionality.

friend from japan naoko turned me onto this LINE app, which has better voice quality for voice calls than most cell carriers and isn't a resource hog/backdoor for MS like SkYPE:

http://line.me/en/

it also works as a Chwome extension --which means you can use it on desktops on any OS: linux/mac/win.

I've got a friend on the West Coast who owns a pizza place/bar. He closes about 2 am PCT and decides it is a great time to text.

This sounded like a dumb suggestion but I tried it and it is much better.

Thanks IMU. You're the best poster on this board.
