The problem is they will bumble their way into an 8 seed so the draft pick sucks and in 2 years all of the money free agents will spurn the Bulls and they will end up giving a max deal to Tony Parker and Carmelo to try to get it together for a ring or some dumb bullshit because no actual useful free agents will ever end up here. |

I think they did a great job so far. There are only about 3 or 4 teams that can win a championship, but this should be more watchable than last year. Off the team from last year: Noah: He was hurt and may be washed up in NY. Gasol: He played no defense. Rose: He took games off and added unnecessary drama. Holiday: He showed some promise, but was a bench player. Dunleavy: He was over 35 and was injured most of last year. Moore: He was a combo guard who was serviceable at best. New to the team this year: Wade: Even if he only played half of the games he's still better than most of the average guys getting paid. Rondo: He can't shoot well, but he can pass. Lopez: He's an energy guy who is younger than Noah. Grant: We'll find out if he can play. Valentine: We'll see if the Michigan State guy can play. Returning from last year: Aaron Brooks Jimmy Butler Cristiano Felicio Taj Gibson Doug McDermott Nikola Mirotic Bobby Portis Tony Snell |

What am I missing? They held onto their most valuable player and didn't give up any of their young players. Rose was leaving after this year and Noah didn't want to come back either. Gasol was one foot out the door last season as well. So they acquired a starting NBA center at below (today's) market value and arguably upgraded at the PG spot with Rondo on a 1 year tryout basis. In addition to that, with Wade now on board, Butler slides over to SF so you've also upgraded there as well. Your bench is now Gibson and or Mirotic, Valentine, and McDermott. And call me crazy, but I still think Snell can play. Not to mention, you're set up next offseason to add at least one max contract (Griffin or Paul) if not two, depending on their creativity. |

You're fucking crazy. I think that the Bulls are better and will be a top 5 team. |
