Yes, I realize I'm one year late. Just saw that my hometown celebrated the Golden Anniversary last summer.

Spent the first 15 years of my existence in the southwest suburb before all the glitz and glamour. We didn't have a ritzy country club, beautiful golf course or world class celebrities like Drew Peterson.

We had the pond across from the fire station, Totura's Grocery, 7-11, Zayre for school supplies, Mr. Quick for burgers, A, B, C, D Track school schedules, A&P, the big truck stop off 55, Bernard J Ward Middle School, St Dominic's Church, big shot BHS wrestler King Mueller, Fountaindale Library and the infamous prison looking Old Chicago Amusement Park.

Hey now, what's that supposed to mean? Yes, I like Bolingbrook Golf Club, I used to work at White Eagle when I was younger and I think Bolingbrook is nicer all around.....at least from the social standpoint - Maybe not the golf.
