It really puts Great America to shame, which I'm ambivalent about.

Magic Mountain really was a great experience and I hope to go again... but it will be hard to get psyched about any coaster except Goliath at Six Flags Great America now. Magic Mountain's coasters are just on another level. X2 is sick.

Don't rip on amusement parks because your fine ass tush doesn't fit comfortably in the coaster seats.

Taking the kids to Six Flags this weekend. Learning my lesson, we're buying the flash passes. No more three hour waits for the good rides.

damn Nas, i know you put in work for your "jimmy-rustling" schtick [#JustSayNo to #TheTWord] but this statement right here is quite possibly the most [t-word]ish thing you've ever said in the grand history of the C/S/FMB (tho it is technically kinda hard to know 100.0% since i think you've had at least 1-2 accounts get a full-on "benoit treatment" from the bagman over the years =)

also uhhhh, yeah, i reckon in terms of pure amusement park steez the pink bunny aka "lilbro" is probably right about this sort of thing, however nowadays i think i've reverted back to my 12-and-under mindset/mentality where i don't really have any desire to lock my pudgy ass into some kind of car that whips me around at heights/speeds that could cause death/injury in the event of some SHTF / world-class-fuckup. plus i bet i'm a bit rusty with my pocket-stuffing game cuz i used to remember that it was an artform rigging yourself up to where you weren't gonna have anything fly out of your pockets when you went upside down... and that was b4 the computerphone revolution where now everyone's got a $50-500 personal electronic mark of the be.... device on them at all times.

ah well i bet that storage locker usage has gone up since the "smartphone revolution" eh? and i wonder how many kids have gotten injured on rides trying to catch a pokemon in the middle of a loop/corkscrew/etc?

I've never had anything fall out of my pockets, and I keep my sunglasses / phone / wallet on my person at all times.

yeah, i reckon it was always more of an irrational fear on my part than anything else; but i'll be damned if i didn't enact proactive countermeasures every time i was walking up to my car in shockwave/batman/iron-wolf/etc because i wasn't gonna be "that guy" who had his personal belongings fly out of his pocket/s, even if i looked like a dufus with his XXL shirt always crammed into every possible pocket.

hey do amusement parks still work out like if you go way early in the season (b4 schools let out for the summer) that you can have ~10-15min lines tops and manage to actually get your amusement on quick-n-easy to the point that you're legit burned out of all the rides by like ~6-7pm? i always remember that when we went to great america we'd go way early in the season because once the schools let out for the summer it just wasn't nearly as fun spending ~30-75mins in line for each and every ride... and then there'd always be some kind of crazy coupons with or without coke cans that would have us getting in for like $20/each at the absolute most. i always remember thinking that ppl who went during the actual summer months with only a coke can ($7?) off of full price were goddamn fools!

Amusement parks are ok.
However, Santa's village was the 7th ring of hell.
Smells like baby shit and vomit, and the petting zoo was a nightmare of biblical proportions.

IMU doesn't think your fine ass tushes fit comfortably in the coaster seats, just so you know.

We have a GA season pass. The kids love it. I don't like lines, gross people, or roller coasters. The water park is kinda fun except for the chance of skin infections and, again, gross people.

They aren't working with the same quality goods that you have.

First of all, I agree that amusement parks suck.
Magic Mountain has better landscape and scenery...duh, it's fucking California...but no, the rides are not necessarily better. Most are the same.
