So...I bought a 14 foot trampoline from someone for our kids. I realized what a pain in the ass it was gonna be and was kind of regretting buying it. Got a text today from the sellers saying a tree fell on the trampoline last night. Full refund on the way !!! |

If you get one of those, be sure to call your HO insurer first. They don't like the liability coverage on those things. |

nah, trampolines are among the safest "high energy" outdoor activities kids can engage in: Quote: "If you look at all of the high energy activities kids can play in, trampolines end up being pretty much the safest things that they can do," said Publicover. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nati ... s/8820793/ i mean, compared to gator-wrestling, bungee-jumping, free climbing, base-jumping, scaling Trump tower with suction cups or hunting grizzly bears in Alaska, trampolines = way safer. |

Trampolines were taboo in my family. My Irish cousin, Tim Lynch was paralyzed in a trampoline mishap. I had an old girlfriend who had a trampoline in her backyard in north Evanston when we were growing up. It used to make me laugh because her dad was a big honcho with the National Safety Council. |

i was maybe 12-13 playing on a trampoline, almost landed on the support bar (no padding back then). realized then and there that this was like the most dangerous thing ever invented. Course now they are all padded with big netting etc. you know that Granger guy, Mr Safety? That's me. |

When we get one, it will have the safety enclosure and spring cover or it's a no go. |

When I was a kid we had to wait until there was at least 2 feet of snow on the ground before we could jump off the roof of the garage. I guess what I'm saying is my parents were strict. |

I guess what I'm saying is my parents were strict. My old man was one of those typical Irish bachelors who lived with his parents and didn't get married until he was pushing forty. I was his first kid and he was 38 when I was born. Talk about a Nervous Nellie, I'm surprised he didn't make me wear a helmet to school. Thankfully, my mom was much younger and a lot looser with what we were allowed to do. |

I think the board should chip in and have a trampoline delivered to Bernstein's house and set up in his backyard while he's at work. |
