Perhaps earlier in the year after the Sox began so well and some of their dumber fans bought into the idea they were contenders, then, it was fun to point out it was a façade and watch it all fall apart. But once they fell below .500 and it became obvious that they were going nowhere, the joy in it was greatly diminished. Now the joy from watching Cubs wins is just so far greater. |
