With another 3 months to go Chicago has surpassed last years murder total :shock:

Well Eddie Johnson,Rahm,Father Pfleger,Jesse et al. Talking about it ain't going to stop it

I know some will say it is way down from 15 years ago or whatever but that is a shocking stat. Way too many lives lost.

I know but I thought some used to dismiss it in a sense because it is way down from early 90's.

Biggest difference is they no longer stop random people or clear off street corners without complaints. Until they get a call they aren't going to do anything unless they specifically see something. Which is what most people want.

Yeah I exaggerated. 700k less. The technology to get people immediate help who were shot is a thousand times better today.

I did when people were saying bring in the National Guard for 400 murders in a year. We're looking at a 50% increase in murders this year. That's a major problem.

Murders are down about 60% from the early 90's. Even this year violent crime is down most places in the country.
