A friend of mine got me into this thing at Guaranteed Rate Friday night where you could take batting practice, infield, pitch, etc. on the field. Free (good) food, free alcoholic drinks. Hang out in the clubhouse, dugouts, bullpen. Only about 40 people there. To top it off Ron Kittle gave a bizarrely Ditka-esque talk that was part motivational speech, part observational comedy. Itreally was a great time though. This is the one area where the Sox are better than the Cubs.
