"Hey, you know that guy that couldn't win with Peyton Manning and a stacked defense? He can fix the Bears!"

He's not an actual coach. He's like the CEO coach.

Outside of Bellichek, what coach would have won a game with the Bears? This roster had very little talent. Outside of Jeffrey, Cutler, Long, Jerrel, and Young, its a bunch of 2nd and 3rd stringers out there.

Clean up the rasp in his voice and it's Jay Cutler speaking...same inflections same cadence, same non-answers....

Arians Maybe. I forgot about him, though his team is 1-2
Pederson No
Belichick I already gave you him
Harbaugh No. A college coach would not do better with the Bears
Kubiak No
Reid No
Carroll Possibly but I highly doubt it. His team gave up 9 points to the Rams and still lost for chrissakes
Payton His defense sucks (again) and his team is 0-3.

Still waiting for the MANY who would do better. Right now we are at 1 for sure and 2 maybes.

There is a Harbaugh in the NFL my friend. A SB winning Harbaugh.

The Michigan Harbaugh would win as well.

Post subject:  Re: John Fox

Not with this Bears roster. I am not saying Fox is great, but this roster is almost completely devoid of different making talent.

Neither Harbaugh gets the Bears better than 0-3.

Author:  Kirkwood [ Tue Sep 27, 2016 7:51 am ]
Post subject:  Re: John Fox

Harbaugh would make the offense functional. MANY of those coaches would make the offense functional.

Bears could reasonably be 2-1 if offensive gameplans weren't utter garbage. All 3 games have had one half where the offense has been completely invisible.

Author:  Frank Coztansa [ Tue Sep 27, 2016 7:54 am ]
Post subject:  Re: John Fox

This offense is going to struggle to be functional all season long with that Oline. They played 1 good half in Houston, and nothing since.

Part of that is coaching and game planning. Most of it is on the players not executing and sucking.

Fox is so valuable that Ekway had to fire his ass to win a SB.

I would not try to make any case for Fox but when rating my coach pressers is pretty far down the list.

It's amazing that Lovie got roasted for not saying anything at his press conferences, but Fox is 100% worse and rarely any complaints are raised.

I'm not Beardown, but this is definitely a race thing.

I've heard Speigel and Goff, Giangreco, and Kaplan complain about his less-than-informative press conferences.

I hear him getting shit for it all the time. Bernstein in particular says it every presser.
