It did. Americans said it's okay to sexually assault and harass women, be openly racist, a bigot and xenophobic. As I said in another thread it was a repudiation of decency and the progress I believed we made as a country.

What was the alternative, murdering anyone who got in your way and making shady backroom deals that violate all known laws and decency to wrest resources and power for oneself?

All Hillarong cared about was herself, and it showed.

Honestly, regardless of the party politics, I would not have minded a Bernie Presidency.

I really think you extrapolate too much out of the real message. People hated HRC.

I choose decency and the America I genuinely believed we had become. I've always been proud of this country but today feels different. I know this may be hard for some people to understand but MANY people have similar feelings.

What did it say about American when she was trounced by a lightweight like Obama?

It pains me to say it but she is just an unelectable candidate. She lost two lay down races.

Nas, I understand where you're coming from. But consider this- in today's America, the white working class is just as aggrieved as other disaffected groups. I know folks like to lump white privilege and assign it to that entire racial block. But reality is different.

The white working class is a group that faces the same struggles as many groups- paying the mortgage, poor schools for the kids, low incomes and slow wage growth, no financial safety net, broken households, a feeling of being left behind. The majority of my family, I have six siblings and four sibling in laws, fall into this category. Family parties are dominated by their struggles.

I am not saying they face the sort of discrimination and inherent disadvantages of minorities and immigrants. But the same financial and community pressures that afflict minority communities are also present in working class white families.

They are angry.

Funny thing is how misguided their blame and ridiculous accepted "relief " is.

Make America Great Again and Take America Back primarily mean something MANY don't want to publicly admit. I mean it's safe now, embrace the vile racism. Republicans, the President elect and the media openly profit off of it

Bullshit, this was rural middle aged white Americans being tired of being shit on and their money being taken from them by the Dems. They got tired of the P C bullshit and white shaming , being taxed to the gills and having nothing in their area to show for it. All the tax money going to help illegals and "refugees" finally pissed off enough people. The only person HRC would not have beaten is David Duke,be honest. I told you Trump supporters where fucking with the polling people, didn't I? Don't think so look at some of the states he won. If you think Obamas' first win was a push back on Bush then this is a kick in the nuts to Obama and his policies.

I never said that was why he was elected. By electing him the American people have spoken and said they're perfectly fine with all the things I listed. There is no doubt about that.

No that is bullshit and you know it. as a microcosm just look at how often the race card is used on here just by ltg. And I'm talking about people other than me. He calls someone who disagrees with him a racist at least 3 times a day and that is just for their Bulls thoughts

Hillary is guilty of all you accuse Trump of.

Hillary has accepted money from countries that have ZERO respect for the rights of women.

Hillary is openly dismissive of most regardless of race.

Truth be told, every time one of those polls called me, I hung up on them.

And they called several times over the past year and a half.

I wasn't interested in helping Hillary game-plan.

Go the list of donors to the foundation. The facts are very clear.

The Clintons and the Dems clearly had a disregard for the intelligence of people across all races.

They thought Hispanics would not vote for Trump in any number. They did.

She called half of Trump supporters, "deplorables." We are all included in this.

And you still haven't answered the question about how you felt when Bill was elected.

I was 10 but I was an HW fan. Until yesterday I had never voted for a Clinton or Gore in an election.
