In Brane's defense, I did get paid out on Superbowl squares that we bought, but I also won a NCAA Bowl contest for a free sweatshirt which has been in the mail for the past seven years or so. |

I never got the prize I won for winning one of the NASCAR contests, though I certainly did not earn the win, anyway. I emailed the evening before an NCAA final game when I had one of the two teams, Wisconsin I think, the year they lost by one at the buzzer or something like that. I wanted to divide my potential winnings up in advance amongst other players as well as myself. He said something to the effect of" better wait and see". I lost, and he asked the winner what charity he wanted the winnings donated to, then the whole thread disappeared. Just left a bad taste with me. |
