I had Ward winning by 2 points, but Kovalev knocked him down with a super-hard jab in the 2nd.

Fuck biased ass Jim Lampley. That asshole invests his own money in certain fighters, and you can totally tell - he attaches to them. He practically mouth-raped Kovalev all during the fight and even made veiled hints that he thought the fight only went for Ward because f American judges. Time to retire, crybaby. Fuck this guy. |

Great fight. I really hope there's a rematch. I didn't score cause I streamed rather than ordering but it felt like Kovalev may have nicked it in the 12th due to Ward's inactivity over the last 2 minutes. I see Doug Fischer is already calling this the worst robbery he's ever seen though (  ) and I'm sure hacks like Steve Kim are similarly apoplectic.

i thought andre was that one ex-NFL-WR who had a crazy bitch from TLC burn down his house when she put all his shoes in the bathtub and set them ablaze? oh wait... andre rison? maybe not rizon? i think there must have been some other heisman-winner/caliber college player named ward... charlie ward or something? i swear dude was a total bust in the NFL but uhhh whatever. i know fuckall about boxing other than i gotta give $$$MONEY$$$ mayweather his props for effectively creating a "heel" persona/brand cuz man, i can't lie, after discovering dude existed a few years ago and getting a glimpse into his world/schtick/etc, man, i wanna see that dude get knocked the fuck out!!! .....of course that'll never happen cuz dude picks his opponents carefully, and even if he eventually does a "big" fight like pacquiao it's after he ducked him for like 3-5yrs til manny was past his prime and in his decline. but hey, just like whenever you hear someone stick up for a shitty mainstream rapper: "you gotta respect them cuz they got that $$$MONEY$$$ doe!" -- c'est la vie, no? |
